At Malla Reddy Deemed to Be University (MRDU), the Ombudsperson serves as an impartial authority dedicated to upholding justice, transparency, and ethical conduct within the academic community. The Ombudsperson plays a vital role in addressing grievances, resolving disputes, and safeguarding the rights of students, faculty, and staff in accordance with UGC regulations and institutional policies.
Key Roles of the Ombudsperson
- Independent Grievance Redressal Acts as a neutral and independent body to receive, investigate, and resolve complaints related to academic, administrative, and behavioral issues.
- Ensuring Procedural Fairness Ensures that all grievance-handling procedures are conducted fairly, transparently, and without bias.
- Safeguarding Student Rights Protects the interests of students by addressing concerns related to admissions, examinations, harassment, disciplinary actions, and other academic matters.
- Monitoring Institutional Compliance Reviews university practices to ensure alignment with UGC guidelines, statutory norms, and ethical standards.
- Facilitating Dialogue and Resolution Encourages constructive dialogue between stakeholders to resolve conflicts amicably and promote a harmonious campus environment.
