Business Incubation Centre (BIC)
Established in 2015, the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) at Malla Reddy Engineering College (Autonomous) promotes entrepreneurship and hones creative student talent right on campus.
MREC-BIC nurtures students with an entrepreneurial mindset, guiding them to turn innovative ideas into viable, scalable business ventures. BIC is proudly associated with T-Hub (IIIT-H Campus, Gachibowli) and selected for Industry-Academia Collaboration in Skill Development with BOSCH.
Registered with MSME Udyam, Govt. of India (Regd No. UDYAM-TS-20-0016996) and officially approved as a Host Institute (HI) under the MSME Champion Scheme on 08-03-2022.

BIC Facilities
IPR Facilitation Centre: Legal attorney support in filing Patent and CA for company registrations.
Networking Support: Connect incubatees with investors, corporates, and Govt funding bodies.
Supporting Activities: Awareness programs, workshops, invited talks on innovation, competitions, hackathons, project expos, and idea contests.
Modeling and verification of systems for real-time applications to avoid time consumption in manufacturing. Design and verification of Integrated Chips (IC) layout design, schematic, power calculation, and processing speed optimization.
Robust machinery including Stir Casting machine, Lathe Machines, Hydraulic press, Welding machine, and Fly press suitable for producing prototypes. 3D Printing Machine for fast, personalized prototypes and Microscopes for ensuring microstructure quality.

BIC Activities (2023 - 2024)
Session / Panel Discussion with Innovation & Start-up Ecosystem Enablers
Objectives of the Program: 1. The discussion aims to identify strategies to strengthen the overall startup ecosystem. 2. Promoting incubators and accelerators, encouraging research and development, and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship. Participants gained direct awareness of state and national startup ecosystem opportunities.
Demo Day / Exhibition / Poster Presentation of Start-Ups & Linkage with Innovation Ambassadors
Objective & Outcome: Organized Demo and Poster Presentations of Student Start-Ups with direct evaluation by Innovation Ambassadors on campus. Student business plans were systematically reviewed, and founders were guided to register on Udyam and Startup India portals.
